BackGround Audio Widget

An Adobe Muse Widget that allows you to background audio to the page.


Cross-Browser compatible

All browsers either use MP3, Ogg or Wav files to render audios and this widget allows you to use MP3 as main video file and Ogg and Wav file as Alternate audio format.

Volume control

Every type of music has its on level of volume. This widget allows you to decide the volume level on the scale of 0.1 to 1.0.

This widget gives you the option to decide if the background audio should loop back or it shoud stop after being played once. Its just a matter of a check box.

Free Widget

This is a free Widget and you need not to spend a penny for it. Just register and download it.

How to Use

Once you download the file, Fing "" in your Downloads folder. Double click on the .zip file to export it. You will now have a folder named after the widget.  Now follow the steps below.

1. Look for Musepen_background_audio.mulib and double click on it.

2. If Muse is not open it will lauch Muse and will add the widget to Library Panel.

3. The imported folder (Musepen widgets Collection) will appears in the Library panel, ready for use in the current file. Then drag/drop the widget to your project, set the options and enjoy!

In this widget you get the option to add Mp4 file as primary audio and OGG and Wav File format as an alternate media type. Its not mendotary to add OGG and Wav files but It is advised as there coud be a site visitor that may have an older version of a browser that do not support MP3 media type.

Add file :

  1. To add an MP3 file Open Widget option by clicking Blue circle on the right side top of the widget and click on "Add File" in front of "Add MP3 file"
  2. This will take you to the Windows explorer or finder to select your local MP3 file.
  3. Once you select the MP3 file it will automatically add this file in Assets tab.
  4. Similarly add OGG and Wav file in the subsequesnt options.

While Displaying Video in a site its very important to add proper user controls . This widget allows you following controls

  1. Audio ID : In this textbox you need to give thos audio a name in one word. This name is essential in case you want to control the volume of this audio.
  2. Default Volume : This widget allows you  to define audio volume from 0% to 100%. you get the option to select from 0.1 to 1.0
  3. Loop : If you check this option then video will keep on looping as soon as its over.
