An Adobe Muse Widget that allows you to embed your Google Calendar in the page.

This Widget allows you to embed your google calendar in Adobe Muse with few clicks. it also give you the flexibility for language, timezones and CSS.

Language and Time Zone

This Widget gives you the options to select from 40 languages and 248 options for various time zone across the world.

Week Start

In this widget you can decide which day of the week should be the first day of your week. Options given are Monday, Sunday and Saturday.

How to Use

Once you download the file, Fing "" in your Downloads folder. Double click on the .zip file to export it. You will now have a folder named after the widget.  Now follow the steps below.

1. Look for Musepen_google_calendar.mulib and double click on it.

2. If Muse is not open it will lauch Muse and will add the widget to Library Panel.

3. The imported folder (Musepen widgets Collection) will appears in the Library panel, ready for use in the current file. Then drag/drop the widget to your project, set the options and enjoy!

The most impostant part is to link the widget with the calendar you want to showcase. There could be case when you will have more than 1 calendaar on Google Calendar. In this sentiion we will learn on how to get the calendar ID from Google Calandar and how to link it with the widget

Calendar ID :

  1. Go to and it will take you to the google calendar dashboard where you can see and edit your calendars
  2. Once there click on GEAR icon at the top right > settings > calendars > Click on your calendar > look for Calendar address section and it will show the calendar ID.
  3. By default calendat ID for you primary calander id your Google ID but if you create any other calendar google will give you another ID that you can find the same way
  4. Once you have the calendar Id you need to break it in 2 parts . fist will be the part before the @ sign and the second would be the part after @sign.
  5. Go to the widget options and update them accordingly

Unless you make your Google Calendar Public you can not use it on any page. Check the steps below for making calendar public.

Making A Google Calendar Public :

  1. Click On the Gear icon at  the right side Top of the Google Calendar pahe
  2. Click settings from dropdown
  3. Select Calanders
  4. Click on the calendar name that you want to make public
  5. Click "share this caledar"
  6. Check "Make This Calendar Public"

  1. Week Start On : You can decide if a spacific day need to the the first day of the week out of Monday,Sunday, Saturday.
  2. Language : If you want you calendar to show in a specific language then you can select out of 40 language options provided in the dropdown.
  3. Time Zone: In this widget you get the option to select a time zone from 248 options available for various countries.
  4. Background Color : If you can to give calendar a specific background color then you can use this section of the widget to change it with the HRX color code. Please do not use # in the code
